The Lei Maker | Honolulu International Airport 

"Haku Lei" is a section of the installation called "The Lei Maker". The Lei Maker is 28- 5'x7' oils on panels that were installed at the Honolulu International Airport. This video shows Kristie in the studio creating Haku Lei with her daughter Sophia.

State Capitol Building

The original installation of The Lei Maker, located at the Honolulu International Airport, caught Senate President Donna Mercado Kim’s attention while she was awaiting her departure from Honolulu. With the help of the Department of Transportation and Department of Accounting and General Services, replicas of the paintings were made and brought to the State Capitol’s fourth floor.
